Andrea Gasperin was born in 1982 in Italy where he got a master in trumpet, musical education and conducting as well as having studied composition. As a trumpet player he performed in many orchestras, chamber ensembles, jazz and pop groups and as a soloist and teacher. As a conductor Andrea won several international prizes in Europe, last of whom the Golden Baton in the World Music Contest in Kerkrade (NL) in 2013, he conducted many premières on a lot of different genres and he is requested as a teacher and jury member. He is now active as a principal conductor of different ensembles in Italy and The Netherlands as well as guest conductor in orchestras and wind bands through all Europe. His last performances include opera, symphonic music, concertos, contemporary music and more.
Since 2013 Andrea has been based in The Netherlands, and continues to grow as a conductor under the tutoring of such a big names as Jac van Steen and Kenneth Montgomery.
